The decisions you make today are crucial to the protection of your hard-earned assets, health, independence, dignity, and family. Everything changes as you reach retirement age, and that’s when Smith Elder & Business Law, LLC in Kansas City, MO comes in to help you plan ahead.

About P. Glen Smith, Attorney and Counselor at Law

P. Glen Smith chose to give up a successful career with a large national law firm to focus on estate planning, elder law, business law, special needs planning, and other related areas. He did this because he enjoys intimate collaboration, getting to know his clients, including their families and businesses, on a personal level.

A Lawyer Unlike Any Other

What sets Glen apart from traditional attorneys is that he is a compassionate “people person”, with vast experience, and wants the best life for each of his clients.

As a spouse, parent of five grown adult children and business owner, Glen understands the joys, stresses, hardships, and conflicting emotions that come with business and estate planning and elder care. He also recognizes the difficulties inherent in caring for aging parents, having gone through the experience of finding medical care for his beloved mother.

Backed by Decades of Experience

With more than 33 years of experience as a lawyer, Glen is equipped to address your legal concerns in a friendly, effective, and supportive manner, explaining the issues and options in an easy-to-understand manner.
